Like many others, I take Instagram pictures when I’m out… and this includes for when I’m out eating. Not all the time, mind you, but once in a while when I see the shot, I take it. There was one time when my mom and I were at Olive Garden and I couldn’t resist taking a picture of my favorite beverage – their raspberry-peach iced tea.
What I didn’t expect from this picture was that the official Olive Garden Instagram account would come across this picture (even though I had used #olivegarden in the caption). Whoever runs the account said it was a great picture and asked if they could repost it on their account and of course I said “yes!”
When I first saw that comment I couldn’t believe it. I think it actually took me a few minutes before I could actually reply. I never expected that to happen and not that anything else really happened, like getting more followers or something, but it was just a great feeling to have a picture of mine noticed by an official account rather than just another person.
So the moral of this post… try the raspberry-peach iced tea at Olive Garden. It’s really good!
Nice! Did you use any filters for that or it’s just a natural lighting? I’m feeling thirsty now, Haha!
I believe I used the Sutro filter on that one. This was before I starting using VSCOcam with my pictures, haha :)
