Well, I guess I should tell you a bit about me.
First off, I’m not really an orange owl… sadly. My name is Tabby and I am a 2015 college graduate; particularly one who loves to read, write, take pictures and make videos. I majored in Communication for the reason that it was the closest major to video production at my alma mater. I also minored in Psychology, but don’t worry, I’m not analyzing you right now (well, I might be a little). I currently work as a Library Assistant and I just completed my Master’s degree in Library and Information Science.
Let’s see… I am a lover of Apple products; I own a MacBook Pro, an orange iPod Nano 4th Gen, a green iPod Nano 3rd Gen, and a rose gold iPhone 6s. I’m also a proud Ravenclaw. I produce videos and do photography under my company name Natural Chance Productions & Photography and I am in partnership with the local BMX track where I make highlight videos of their races and also take pictures. I would love working in a television studio or doing production for independent organizations while doing freelance on the side.
As for writing, I’ve had to rely heavily on my imagination for fun since I grew up as an only child and thus for the last 13 or so years I have found writing to be a good outlet for the overflow of creativity inside me. I have written great number of original short stories, fanfiction and obviously, blogs. The orangeowldiaries is my longest standing blog by far, and I love my little internet baby.
So what is this blog all about? Well, it’s definitely a personal blog, with a hint of lifestyle thrown in. I’d like to share tips as I experience my own way through life as well as give reviews of movies, books, products and any other type of thing I can give my opinion on. I will not be writing about anything political – it bores me too much, and I don’t want to start any Internet wars. I will, however, post about my faith on this blog from time to time, probably more often as I grow as a Christian woman.
Ha. Woman. I still find it weird to call myself that. I’ll stick to ‘young lady’ – like my great-uncle used to call me.
As for why I chose “orangeowldiaries” as my blog name, here’s the simple reason. I love orange. I love owls. At the time I started this blog my journal was orange with a picture of an owl on it and I had an orange owl mug that I used when I was writing. So, therefore, orangeowldiaries. Makes sense, right?
So that’s a little bit about me.
Now tell me something about you! :)
You have some wonderful images posted here! Great blog! Thank you for stopping by my corner of the web and following my blog, I hope you continue to enjoy my photos. Thanks for sharing your work!
Thanks for taking time to look at mine as well :) I really enjoy photography. Like I said, I’m no professional, but I try my best to make the pictures look good.
Great blog. I punished a book earlier this year entitled I Was There. Here is a link if you’re interested in reading. Thanks! http://www.amazon.com/I-Was-There-Chris-Martin-ebook/dp/B00KDTB57K/ref=pd_sim_kstore_3?ie=UTF8&refRID=19Y65FSRXM3AH0RDY8VR
Wonderful blog, content and theme! Do you think you could add some more pins on pinterest? So nice to have found you!
Yeah, I’ve been meaning to use Pintrest more. I’ve had it for so long, but I just haven’t gotten used to using it.
You’ve been nominated for a Sisterhood of the World Bloggers Award!

Such a neat blog… So happy to have found you…
Thank you! I’m glad I found you as well.
Hi Tabitha. We started on Bloglovin and noticed you were not there. Any reason?
The blog is looking wonderful. We really like the Sela but found it difficult to work. You have made it amazing!
hm, that’s odd. maybe you have to search orangeowldiaries.com instead of just orangeowldiaries? if not, my link is on the icon under my picture to the left. and thank you! :)
Following! Thanks..
Comm majors for life! I can’t tell by the comment dates for sure, but are you still in school now?
Yes, I am. Final semester though, I’m graduating May 16th. I’m both excited and scared.
Excited and scared at the same time sounds about right!
Funny that I should like your blog. You’re in college and I’m retired. I just started my blog and looking at yours for inspiration. Hope you don’t mind that I copy. All I originally wanted to do was to post some of my short stories. But maybe I should reach out a bit further.
I don’t mind at all. It makes me happy that my blog inspires you! :)
Thank you Tabby, you blog is far more awesome..see you around :-)
Hi Tabitha, Your name is beautiful and so is your blog too. It’s nice to meet you in Blogging 101. Do check out my blog when you have the time. Thank you. :)
Thank you! I will check yours out, I love connecting with new bloggers through Blogging 101! :)
So good to hear. Looking forward to your visit, Tabby!
Love this, and I look forward to reading more of your blog. I like your nickname, as I am a cat lover, and it makes me first think of a sweet cat. Hope you’re okay with that. ;) See ya around.
Thank you! I love cats as well, and I don’t mind that at all. It’s especially ironic since my username for everything online is tabbyisnotacat haha! :)
Ha! That’s great! 😊
I enjoyed your About. I like reading them, and enjoyed writing my own on my blog of 3 months and counting. I am a Psychology Major, and credentialed in Neuro-Linguistic-Programing, and Dementia Care. I love life and love people. I live a positive, plant-based life. I have a son, and three grands. I volunteer working with seniors, primarily with people who have dementia. There you have a bit about me. There’s plenty more to know.
Oh! I love looking up at the stars at night.
Greetings from a fellow Ravenclaw!
