Happy day after Christmas everyone! I hope you all enjoyed your holiday weekend and any time off you’ve gotten to celebrate. Now that we’re less than a week away from the new year, let’s talk goals. More specifically, reading goals.
This coming year my goal is to read 40 books. Maybe it sounds like a lot, but considering I’m on my 35th book of the year, I don’t think it will be that big of a stretch to read five more. But along with reading the 40 books, I want 15 of them to be part of a ‘reading challenge’ like the ones you see on Pop Sugar and other sites. So after a little bit of researching for ideas, I came up with my own reading challenge for the year.
I think this is a good little mix of different books and it’s definitely doable. I’m pretty excited for this. The reason I’m only doing fifteen is because I want some free range with the rest of my books. Also, I’m planning on rereading the Harry Potter books… it’s been a while.
Anyone who’d like to do this challenge with me is most welcome to. Just let me know in the comments if you decide to and maybe I’ll even start a link-up! Either way, I definitely will post updates, maybe quarterly, throughout the year to track my progress with this challenge.
What are your reading goals for the year?
This is a cool idea! My goal is to read 150 books in 2017. 😊 I’m at 128 right now so I have high hopes I’ll be able to complete it!
That’s so many! But that’s awesome. I would just be happy to make it to 50 in one year… lol. I hope you are able to achieve it this coming year! :)
