So we are three days into the new year and I’ve read 2 1/2 books so far. I’d say that’s a pretty good start for my reading goal! This year I’m staring my Goodreads Challenge at 50 books, since I read more than that the past two years. It is possible that the number will change, however, I also like having the leeway in case I go into a readin slump like I did from mid-September to December of last year.
I do not normally like to pick out specific books to read, however, there are many that are still sitting on my bookshelf unread as well as ones I’d like to reread, so this year I’ve chosen a number of titles that I would like to read this year. I chose 30 titles, leaving me 20 “free picks” for my mood reads… or new releases that come out this year.
The titles below are the books I would really like to read/reread this year. Like I said, I already finished two books, so I’m off to a good start!

And those are the books I’m planning to read this year. Whether I follow that plan or not… well, we’ll see I guess. I’ll keep an updated list going on my 2019 Reading Challenge page, crossing off titles as I read them.
I’m also hoping to get book reviews going again, but with school and everything, we’ll see what happens on that front.
Happy New Year everyone! And Happy Reading to all my fellow bookworms!
